The instrument this site adds: ticket lag

In 2022 Oklahoma's governor race and U.S. Senate race were on the same ballots. Kevin Stitt (R) took 55.45% for governor; James Lankford (R) took 64.30% for Senate: the Republican for governor ran 8.85 points behind the Republican for Senate, statewide, and behind in all 77 counties (range −16.9 to −2.0). On election night the live page computes the same gap for Mike Mazzei (R) against Kevin Hern (R), county by county, against that 2022 yardstick. It is a reading of split tickets, not a forecast.
